About me:
I grew up in London, and my undergraduate and early postgraduate education was also in London. I qualified in Dentistry in 1984 having trained at The London Hospital Medical College School of Dentistry and then went on to obtain a medical degree qualifying from St Thomas’s Hospital Medical School (UMDS) in 1991.
My early surgical training was at various Hospitals in London including St Bartholomew's and St Thomas’s Hospitals and then I obtained my higher surgical training in the West of Scotland as a registrar and senior registrar based at Canniesburn Hospital Glasgow.
I was appointed as a Consultant Craniofacial/Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon in 1999 to Canniesburn Hospital. In 2003 the hospital closed and I transferred to the Institute of Neurological Sciences at the Southern General Hospital, Glasgow (Now The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital). My adult Practice is based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and paediatric work is at The Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow.
